ياد باد ان صحبت شبها كه با نوشين لبان

بحث سرعشق وذكرحلقۀ عشاق بود

Read it as:

sabre besyar bebayad , pedare pire falak ra

ta degar madare giti , cho to farzand bezayad . saadi

Translation:

The father of  universe must wait a loooong time

It may again, mother of universe  give birth to another one like you.

Last October Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was in Germany for a series of Concerts promoting the Sufi Music Legacy of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. In an interview with Waslat Hasrat-Nazimi Rahat conveyed his plans about promoting peace through Sufi Music on the paths of his Uncle.

On being asked about his favourite singers he disclosed that he was a big fan of  Michel Jackson, who was himself a big fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

The pink dress concerts from 1996 World Tour has been every NFAK fan’s fantasy watch. I have met people who were ready to even sell their house for getting  these concerts, that’s not an exaggeration…you know it. Thanks to Ehsan Khalid we are one step there Enough Said..
